Terms and conditions of sale
General
All transactions are covered by these conditions unless they are varied
by special terms and conditions in writing between the parties.
Discounts
Discounts quoted are only applicable where contact is with Premier
Windscreens Scotland direct and not via a third party.
Prices
Prices are subject to alteration without prior notification, unless
otherwise agreed in writing.
Net Price
‘Net Price’ is occasions when windscreens, heated rear screen and
bodyglass can only be obtained from Main Dealers. Prices will
be supplied on application.
Ancillary Items/service
Where replacement weather strips, chrome surrounds, rubber surrounds
etc, are supplied, these will be charged additionally and are
not subject to any discounts . Resealing work and repairs to laminated
windscreens are also not subject to discount.
Out of Hours Charges
Work carried out outside normal working hours and on Bank Holidays will
incur an additional charge, unless otherwise agreed.
Normal Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
Saturdays 8.30am – 1.00pm (excluding Bank
Holidays)
Outside of these hours there will be an additional charge of £40.00 for
1 person fitment or £50.00 for 2 person fitment.
Bonded/Direct Glazed
Where glasses are bonded/direct glazed to the vehicle, bonding kits are
included in the list price, unless otherwise stated. This type of
fitting places certain restrictions on both the fitter and the driver,
in terms of drive away times. In some instances, especially where Twin
Airbags are fitted, there may be a requirement to use a ‘Rapid Cure
Urethane’ for which there may be an additional fee.
Windscreens
If a windscreen is deemed repairable by the attending Premier
Windscreens Scotland fitter, Premier Windscreens Scotland will
attempt to repair the windscreen in preference to replacement.
Mobile Fitting Service
Where possible we will endeavour to provide a mobile fitting service,
however in some instances due to degree of difficulty to tooling
requirements, certain installations will need to be completed at a
Premier Windscreens Scotland Branch.
Warranty
All replacement work carried out by Premier Windscreens Scotland is
guaranteed for 1 year. This covers installation, workmanship and
leakage. Any rectification work will be carried out during normal
working hours at Premier Windscreens Depot only. (If rectification work
found not to be related to the original job, a labour charge will be
incurred.) The Company must be informed and authority
sought for any
guarantee work to be carried out by a third party repairer prior to any
work being carried out. Such guarantee will apply provided that no
exclusion is recorded at the time due to prior bodywork
corrosion/damage or inclement weather conditions. These would be noted
on either a pre-work vehicle check sheet and/or invoice. Further the
guarantee shall not apply while our charge remains outstanding after
the agreed payments terms have elapsed.
Customer Glass
Work carried out on the customers vehicle which does not arise under
the terms of guarantee above and/or where the company does not supply
the glass, will be carried out entirely at the customers risk.
Payment
Unless varied by special arrangement, customers shall be required to
pay on completion of the job. Bona-fide trade, fleet and insurance
companies with a trading account in place shall be required to pay
within 30 days of the invoice date. Failure to
do so will nullify all discounts and you will be charged at our current
full retail price.
Title
We reserve the right of ownership over the goods supplied and fitted
under this contract unless complete payment of all monies outstanding
is made. You are reminded that this contract is with the insured and
remains your responsibility unless satisfactory settlement is received
from your insurers.
I agree that if payment is not made by my insurers on my behalf and within 30 days then the liability for settlement remains my responsibility and will be satisfied immediately.
